Baiji OIL Company (NRC) NORTH Refineries Company On 04/04/2024 Our company has contracted with the Ministry of Oil / North Refineries Company on maintenance work cooling towers in the heavy lube oil refineries and duration of the implementation of (150) day work Department engineers implementation of oil and petrochemical projects on completion of the work contract.
On2 Engineering constructs pultruded FRP, reinforced concrete, trealed timber, stainless steel, galvanised steel structure of field erected c,ossflow and counterflow cooling towers. Our towers consist of GRP or PVC hot water distribution system, PVC or PP drift eliminators, PVC film type or PP splash type fill packing. But polypropilen film type and PVC V bar fills can be used upon customer request or according to environmental condition.In all the field erected cooling towers. rotation is transferred to the fan through a driveshaft and gearbox. This way the motor is kept out of the moist air flow.The adjustable pitch fans are made of alluminium or FRP and have vibration limit switches.





Package type cooling towers are preferred in facilities with a water flow rate of upto 1200m3/hr. Since these cooling towers are produced with Glass Reinforced Polyester (GRP), a material with a longer lifespan than most of its alternatives, they have low operating and maintenance costs. Furthermore, package type cooling towers are easily transportable since they are modular.
The structure of the tower as well as its columns and beams are produced with GRP. Various parts of the tower in direct contact with water such as drift eliminators, the water distribution system, and the fill are made of corrosion-resistant material like PVC, PP, GRP or stainless steel . Furthermore, the cold water basin at the bottom of the cooling tower can also be produced with GRP.



Gravity Sand Filter is a mechanical rapid gravity sand filter. It is a polishing filter used for the removal of fine suspended solids from water. It requires no external control system or electrical supply. The backwash cycle initiation occurs autonomously and is driven entirely by built-in hydraulic design features. Operator intervention is limited to periodic maintenance inspections.
Applications
The AGF is commonly installed as polishing filters to remove unsettled flocculant and other suspended solids. Its applications include the following:
1. Polishing filter on potable water treatment plants where mixing, flocculation and
sedimenta-tion stages typically precede the installation
2. Removal of precipitate in iron and manganese removal processes.
